2. Planning and monitoring provides of occupational health services, work centers, and occupational healthcare department covered by the university
3. Planning for the implementation of occupational health programs
• Reduction and control of the occupational disease of silicosis
• Chemical Safety Profile
• Agricultural Hygiene
• Ergonomic development of Iran’s healthcare network system
• Healthcare Houses of workers, guilds, Baqa, and Behgar
• Arrangement of lighting activities in the workplace
• Sound control in the workplace
• Plan of Article 5 of the Waste Management Act to ensure the health of waste management agents
• Radiation protection in the workplace
• Accreditation and monitoring of occupational health performance of hospitals
• Investigation and implementation of difficult and harmful occupations and participation in primitive and revision provincial committees
• Mercury, lead and asbestos hazards control in the workplace
• Provision of preventive and control services for risk factors of non-communicable diseases in the Occupational Health Program
• Investigation and handling of occupational health complaints on workplace conditions
• Targeted inspection plan to cover high-risk workshops
• Intensive inspection program for workshops
• Registration of inspection and occupational examination information in the National Inspection System
4. Planning and implementing training and retraining courses in order to improve technical knowledge level of occupational health specialists, occupational medicine and practitioners, employers, and employees at different levels of affiliated networks and centers, workshops, hospitals, companies and private centers providing occupational health engineering and occupational medicine services
5. Developing and implementing research projects
6. Planning for promotion of occupational health engineering services and assessment of harmful factors of the workplace
7. Issuing and renewing permits for occupational health services provider companies
8. Issuing and renewing permits of occupational medicine services providers (private practices, specialized centers, and workplaces within industrial units)
9. Cooperating with the Council of Insured by Social Security Organization (Workers' Healthcare Houses)
10. Cooperating with the Center for Environmental and Workplace Health of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education for implementation of national programs for well-being of employees
