Healthy Reproduction and Population Program: The target group is women aged 15-49 years. The program focuses on policymaking and planning for increasing planned and safe pregnancies and marital life satisfaction in the context of reproductive health, as well as reducing cases of acquired infertility and complications of pregnancy, abortion, and childbirth. Providing healthy reproductive services to women exposed to high risk pregnancies, parenting counseling in line with demographic policies for target group women, holding marriage counseling sessions for soon-to-be-married couples in order to enhance their life skills and familiarize them with family sexual health are other activities of the Healthy Reproduction Program.

Maternal Health Programs: Includes the Integrated Maternal Health Care Program (outside hospital), National Maternal Mortality Surveillance System, and natural birth promotion. The target group is pregnant women and women aged 15-49 years. Most important measures include providing preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum care in order to provide and maintain maternal and neonatal health, empowerment of staff to increase the quality and quantity of maternal and nursing care aiming at safe maternity, careful and comprehensive examination of deaths causes by pregnancy and childbirth, and appropriate feedback provision to environmental units and related staff to avoid similar incidents. Moreover, educating mothers for promoting natural delivery and reducing C-section delivery is one of the plans designed and implemented to improve maternal health.
